President & CEO - Saeed El-Darahali

Saeed El-Darahali is the President and Chief Executive Officer of SimplyCast’s multi-channel marketing solution.

Saeed brings more than seven years of management experience in the IT industry, with an interest in strategic partnering, corporate financing, strategic growth, operations, and sales and marketing management. Saeed most recently served as Acting CEO for the organization since January 2009 and mentor since January 2006.

Since taking the lead at SimplyCast, Saeed has put his finger prints on every aspect of the company from marketing, to optimizing the sales process, to SimplyCast’s industry leading customer service. You might even be greeted by him on the phone when calling our technical support line. Saeed leads by example and believes it is important to empower each and every employee in the company.

Over the years, Saeed has helped companies identify alliance opportunities through industry/business research. He also mentored numerous companies, helping them translate goals into tactics. He has spearheaded IT improvements that supported growth, enhanced efficiencies, and increased customer satisfaction for a number of companies. Saeed has experience deploying CMS, CRM, e-commerce, lead generation, and web systems.

A serial entrepreneur, Saeed started his first business at age 14 and has since started and sold a number of other businesses. He enjoys sharing his experiences with start-up companies, offering insights into growing a business and becoming successful.

Saeed has leveraged his experience in online marketing, SEM, SEO, CPC, CPM, web development, blogging, press release strategies, multi-media, branding, and e-mail marketing to help companies achieve a strong presence on the Internet and increase year-over-year sales.

Saeed has participated as a speaker at many conferences, including NAWeb, CABI, the 7th World Congress of e-Business, Enterprize Atlantic and ARCN. A part-time lecturer at Saint Mary’s University, he has taught a senior level computer information systems course, System Analysis and Design.

When Saeed is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, running, playing computer games and web development.

Saeed holds a Masters of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Certificate of Human Resource Management and Minor in Economics, all from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

CFO - Ian Logie

Ian Logie acts as the Chief Financial Officer for SimplyCast.

Ian is responsible for all banking, budgeting, monthly & year-end financial statements for the company.

Ian has over 30 years experience in all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, control and management. He has extensive experience in the preparation of business plans, feasibility studies and projections, both domestically and internationally.

As well as keeping an eye on SimplyCast’s books, he is a business consultant and financial adviser to numerous companies both domestic & international. Ian is also a shareholder in a number of private companies.

When Ian is not crunching numbers, he enjoys a good game of tennis or squash and keeping up on the latest novel.

Ian holds a Masters of Business Administration from Dalhousie University.

CTO - Joshua Galloway

As member of the management team Joshua’s responsibility is to manage product development and technology infrastructure. He is an energetic and results-oriented manager with strong technology and business experience.

He has continually proven his ability to conceptualize and deliver complex technology solutions. Joshua has provided leadership and advice to management on technology and continues to assist in building the scalable infrastructure.

Since joining the team Joshua has been responsible for re-engineering the system to handle the growing number of users while reducing the maintenance of the system. Joshua has been instrumental in planning and executing a migration plan for the company while ensuring redundancy and future scalability.

With over 10 years of experience in the email marketing space, Joshua is able to provide experienced guidance to the team through many of the challenges and opportunities that arise.

When not at work, Joshua is very active with the Joints in Motion program.

Joshua secured his Advanced Diploma in Computer Programming from the College of Geographic Sciences in Lawerencetown, Nova Scotia.
