A few weeks ago, we launched our Facebook marketing tool that allows you to create and schedule wall posts as well as add marketing apps to your Facebook page with one click.
Initially, you were able to add a signup form, an online survey or a widget to feature upcoming events.
Now we have added an app that will make it possible to add your latest email newsletter to your Facebook page. Just think, you have just created this masterpiece and you want everyone to see it. Just before you hit send, just click a box and it will show up as is, on your Facebook page under your apps section. No copy and pasting, no adding a link yourself. It is all done for you.
The steps are pretty simple once you have crafted your newsletter of course.

Promotional codes are a quintessential email marketing tactic. It drives click-thrus and opens, as well as sales.
These codes are the modern day equivalent of clipping coupons: everyone loves a deal.
So, here are some tips to ensure that by including promotional codes in your emails, you’ll be successful and take your email marketing campaign to an entirely different level.
1. Include promotional codes in every email
More often than not, your customers are checking out Google for promotional codes for your products every time the mood strikes them to buy something from you. Why not offer some goodwill and provide them directly?
Promotional codes drive opens and click-thrus. If your code is amazing, then its worth your customers time to take a peak around your website to see if any of your products strike their fancy.
And, for those customers that will buy from you regardless of whether you’re offering a code or not, you’re reassuring them that their business is valuable.

When you're just starting out with online marketing, the idea of putting together an email newsletter seems entirely daunting.
Questions like “Where do I begin?” and “What exactly do I need to include in an email newsletter?” pop up with no real answers.
To make your life easier, we've put together the must-haves of an email newsletter when you're building it from scratch (and, it isn't a bad template to work from down the road either):
• Whitelist
It is a good idea to ask to be “added” to your customer's address books so that your email doesn't end up in some wayward junk mail account, never to be seen again.
All you need is a little statement at the very top of each email that simply says, “Please add this email address to your address book.”

One tip to try if you are looking to increase open rates (who isn't?) is tweaking your "From Name". You can use your organization's name or even a high profile person in your company (check with them first).
Whatever will create a feeling of trust and not a feeling of "who the heck is that emailing me". If they signed up for your newsletter or service, the odds are good that they have interest in your company and will recognize it in the inbox.

I really appreciate working with SimplyCast. They provide very good value, and their project creation process gives you the flexibility not always found with other products.
