SimplyCast, a leading provider of interactive marketing software and services for organizations worldwide, is seeking a Director of Marketing to join its team located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a remote position.

Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop marketing strategies and marketing plans.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing efforts including promotional strategy.
- Conduct competitor research and communicate the marketing plan to relevant parties.
- Research demand for our services and identify potential customers.
- Work with sales department to develop pricing strategies to maximize profits and market share while balancing customer satisfaction.
- Understand and develop budgets for the department, including expenditures, research and development, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
- Compile lists describing SimplyCast offerings and develop and manage advertising campaigns.
- Build brand awareness and positioning.
- Support sales and lead generation efforts.
- Coordinate marketing projects from start to finish.
- Organize company conferences, trade shows, and major events.
- Oversee social media marketing strategy and content marketing
- Implement effective security awareness program with the assistance of the CSO.
- Role is KPI focused.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business; (MBA) is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a senior marketing role.
- Experience in Cyber Security Awareness.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
- Strong research and benchmarking skills.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Superb analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate customer advocacy and flexibility.
- Thorough knowledge of marketing principles, brand, product and service management.
- Deep understanding of changing market dynamics.
- Knowledge of development language.
- Strong social media experience.
