The Course Information Solution: Who Does What?

There are relatively limited options for educational institutions who want to spread information about available courses, and to provide information about related courses to their learners as they finish. There is also the difficulty in maintaining stable, relevant communication with thousands of learners, whilst retaining the information received during intake.

A digital solution simplifies the process and creates digital forms that allow improved communication with learners and keeps the information secure.

SimplyCast’s Course Information use case uses dynamic emails, digital forms, and powerful automation to create a streamlined solution for ensuring that learners are kept aware of course offerings with minimal day-to-day management and oversight, saving time and allowing continuing education companies to more efficiently manage their resources.

How to use the Course Information Solution

SimplyCast anticipated the need for a simple process which allows learners to fill out forms and encourage them to take new courses.

This solution can be described as a four-step process, that includes the initial setup by an administrator and the following steps taken by learners.

Administrators- step 1

An administrator makes forms available on each course page that their company offers. This allows learners to request additional information about that course, alongside requesting their consent to share information about other courses with them. Once the form is submitted, an email with information on that course is automatically sent to the prospective learner.

Learners- Step 2

The learner, fills out an information form and receives an email with more information about the course they were looking at. They would also receive messages in the email which would give them more information about next steps or about other related courses that they may also want to take.

Administrators- Step 3

Whenever a learner finishes a course, the administrator is also able to trigger a message to send to them containing information about related courses. This can be kept relevant at an individual level. For example, if a learner was already informed about one course in the past, the course follow-up email can skip that course and send them information about a different course or several other courses.

Learners- Step 4

After having finished a course, the learners receive an email with details about other related courses and signs up for the new course.
