The Process

Stakeholders – Step 1
First, a specimen is sent by a stakeholder to the laboratory for analysis, along with that stakeholder’s contact information.
Lab Staff – Step 2
When the specimen is received, a member of the lab’s staff can submit the specimen using a form (or in bulk by uploading specimen details from a spreadsheet). This generates an ID for the specimen.
Lab Staff – Step 3
As analysis progresses, lab staff can progress the specimens progress by submitting the specimen’s ID into forms associated with each stage. This automatically triggers messages to send, updating the original stakeholder on the specimen’s progress.
