Email and blogs are great avenues for you to engage and communicate with your customers and the general public. Emails provide a direct connection between you and the customer while the blog is accessible to the public easily through your website.

These two types of communication are great and work perfectly fine individually, but did you know that you can use them together to maximize your content's reach?

You can use an RSS feed to add your blog content to your emails or email newsletters automatically. Basically, all you have to do is create an RSS feed for the site/blog you want to use and then add RSS content to your email.

In the SimplyCast email app, this is done by simply dragging the RSS Content node into the body of your email in the Simple Editor and entering the URL of your RSS feed.

Now, whenever that email sends, it will automatically grab the most recent post from your RSS feed and include it in the email. This increases the number of people viewing your posts and boosts traffic to your site. Meanwhile, your email subscribers are seeing content that they may not have found otherwise.

RSS feeds can also be used on the SimplyCast Facebook application.

With RSS feed on the Facebook app, you can select which feed you want to post on your accounts and select the interval that the system should check for new content. Whenever new content is found, it is posted automatically to the accounts selected. This is yet another way you can use your content to engage with even more readers.
