Plans are coming together quickly for our company celebration event happening on February 23 and we are excited to be able to announce the two emcees who will be co-hosting the event for the evening.
Our first emcee has 20 years' experience working with businesses across Atlantic Canada; consulting with them on both business strategy and marketing, as well as connecting these businesses with executive coaches and trainers.
April MacLeod has expertise in creating, developing, organizing, and promoting projects and events which we thought would make her a perfect candidate to help us out with our event, along with her vast experience and reach in the business world!
April is currently a partner of theflipside, a company aimed at connecting businesses with the resources they need. April is also an Advisory Board Member with the IWK Foundation, volunteers with the Canadian Enactus office, and has offered mentorship and support to young entrepreneurs from Futurepreneur, Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Network, as well as Saint Mary's and Dalhousie University.
Our second emcee has been a part of the SimplyCast team since 2013 and came to us from across the pond.
Ariel Hopper is Vice President of Partnerships here at SimplyCast and leads the Reseller team to expand and grow the White Label partnership program across more than 20 different countries.
Before coming to SimplyCast, Ariel worked in London in the advertising sector and was also a teacher, most recently teaching at Saint Mary's University.
We are thrilled to have these two as our esteemed emcees and look forward to having them both preside over the evening's festivities.
The event is being held at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel on February 23 and will welcome friends and supporters of the company to help share in the company's success. Doors will open at 3PM, with the event beginning at 4PM and continuing until 6PM.
The event, while a celebration of how far the company has come over the years, will also provide SimplyCast with the opportunity to share some big news and developments that they have been keeping under wraps for the last 12 months.
