It is the responsibility of companies to give back to their community. Strengthening the local workforce is accomplished, in part, by helping to develop the next generation of talented youth. With the world class education provided by our local educational institutions, students are poised to succeed in the workplace. These students are hungry for education and often all they need to get ahead is a bit of financial backing.
Each year, SimplyCast offers several scholarships to local students, based on academic achievement and community citizenship. We created these scholarships to help students reach their educational goals. We award three main scholarships to students every year. Each scholarship is awarded in honor of a special member of our community who has contributed to SimplyCast's growth and core values.
Many exceptional students apply each year and it is always very difficult to choose which ones gain scholarships. Hear what Karley Hewitt, one of the recent recipients of our Ritchie Scholarship, had to say.
The Ritchie Scholarship is named for SimplyCast's Chairman, Mr. William Ritchie. The Jutla Scholarship is named for Dr. Dawn Jutla, an award-winning professor at Saint Mary's University. The Scobey Scholarship is named for Dr. Porter Scobey, a computer programming professor at Saint Mary's University.
