Have you tried the new Ride On program yet? The Ride On program was created by one of our very own co-op students, Madeleine Martin from Dalhousie. The Ride On program allows transit users to text or tweet their information and receive accurate bus time information.
A text message version was launched first, and we have just launched a Twitter version to provide more options to users. The Ride On program is currently available in Halifax and San Francisco.
How You Can Use the Ride On Program
1. Tweet the city, bus stop and route number to @RideOnCast: sanfrancisco 4748 5L or halifax 8312 10.
2. Text (SMS) the city, bus stop and route number to 21212 @RideOnCast: sanfrancisco 4748 5L or halifax 8312 10. (*In order to use this option, please ensure that your Twitter mobile settings for mentions and replies are set to "From Anyone.")
