Best Email Tips

Here at SimplyCast, we are committed to staying on top of email trends and providing the best email tips that you can find on the internet. We have made a short list that tells you everything you need to know when it comes to creating the best email newsletter the world has ever seen. Your customers' inboxes will literally explode from the greatness. Don't worry, we got this.

1. Don't bother asking for permission to send emails.

Customers don't mind receiving random emails they never signed up for. It's just a fact of life that if you have an email address you will receive emails that you don't recognize from time to time. Everyone knows that, so most people won't mind if you send them an email without asking them to opt in.

2. Don't provide an unsubscribe link in your email.

Don't let them get away that easy! Once you get the customer's email address, you don't want them to be able to stop receiving your emails, do you? If you let them simply opt out, they will not have the opportunity to see your awesome products and services.

3. Never personalize your emails to a customer's personal interests.

Can you imagine how long it would take to send individually targeted emails to each and every customer? Who has the time for that? By sending out the same mass email to everyone on your list, you are reaching the majority of people with basic products and services that will appeal to a very wide range of customers.

4. Include something really exciting in your email subject line.

You need to get people's attention! Make them want to open the email by including words like "Free," "Win," and "Guarantee." Dollar $ign$ work great as well.

5. Don't bother testing your emails before you send them.

It's pretty much a waste of time, as the email will look different to each subscriber anyway based on how they are viewing it. Save yourself the trouble. You took the time to create it, so it's probably pretty good anyway.

April Fools!! Actually, the opposite is true about all these tips. Don't ever send emails to someone without their permission! Seriously though, if you want to send professional emails that are personally targeted to each of your customers based on their own needs and interests (without having to take the time to go through each customer's data by hand!), check out SimplyCast 360.
