This month's edition of Most Frequently Asked Questions is not plural. This is because the most frequently asked questions this month all have to do with what's included in the price of SimplyCast 360, and with that in mind, we've decided to dedicate this entire post to that topic.
SimplyCast 360, as you know, is our 15-channel marketing automation solution, and a package always includes the ability to access every channel. Included in the base price are a certain number of contacts. This number reflects how many individuals to whom an email can be sent. Some communication channels, such as SMS, Voice, and Fax, require additional credits in order to be used. This is due to the inherent costs in the use of these channels. A good way to think of it is this: if it is a digital type of communication, then you are able to do it within the base package. If it requires an external device to operate, credits are needed to maintain that specific channel.
By and large, the higher pricing tiers allow you to access more contacts, but don't necessarily affect the ability to use the platform. The only additional restrictions are in the amount of form and landing page projects that a user is able to create, and the cost to add additional contacts beyond whatever is included in the package.
That said, the higher tiers offer additional features, such as the ability to add custom data fields, white-label the software, and provide custom data support, but none of these features impact how the platform works. A few extras and more contacts aside, the Startup package contains identical functionality to the Enterprise package in terms of what the service is capable of. Many companies may gate substantial parts of their offerings behind higher-tier accounts, but there is no reason for us to do so.
Lastly, but certainly not least, is the ability to have unlimited 360 projects across all campaign tiers. While there are the restrictions mentioned above, their implementation is not vital to the use of 360. While they do offer a more convenient first step for data collection efforts, an organization that already has a list of clients would need only to use the software's API system, or one of the platform's existing CRM integrations, in order to get their existing information working within SimplyCast 360.
No matter what tier your package is a part of, you do and will continue to get access to new platform features such as Contact Changed as they roll out. Our commitment to all of our customers, from the biggest to the smallest, means that everyone has the same-sized sandbox in which to play; that's how the platform has been designed, and that's how it will remain.
