I'm already sending out mass emails. Why do I need more automation?
To answer this question, think of golf. If you were to play a whole game with only one club, how do you think you would fair?
Today's communication landscape requires more ways to reach audiences. Relying on email alone is like playing golf with one club. Like golf, you need to use the right tool for different situations in order to reach different folks.
For example, you can use SMS in conjunction with email to reach audiences effectively. By utilizing more channels, you are, in turn, able to offer your clients more personalized communication that can boost your engagement.
Why do I need yet another automation product if I already have Hootsuite and MailChimp, for example?
When looking at automation products, don't think of them as "another" platform. Instead, you want a platform that can replace all the functionalities of your existing platform, thus centralizing your marketing and communication to one place where everything is built to work together. Finding the right platform means you won't have "another" automation product – you will only have one.
Hootsuite and MailChimp have their benefits if you're only looking for a platform that offers one functionality. But, chances are that if you're implementing a digital marketing strategy that you want to use social media, email, SMS, and other channels to reach your audience.
With Hootsuite and MailChimp, you are limited in channels and will need more platform to compensate for this disadvantage whereas with a platform like SimplyCast you have over 15 channels and tools in one platform to help you accomplish your marketing and communication goals.

I just have no time to build a website and manage it; for a small operator with limited resources, it seems like a mammoth undertaking. I am new to all this and I really just need email automation. Where should I start?

How do I change my credit card information in the SimplyCast system?
To change your credit card information, log into your account as per usual and click on your client ID in the top right-hand corner. From there, click on Subscription. This will bring you to a new page where you need to choose "Billing Information" from the list of options on the left-hand side.
You will now be shown a page with all your current payment options. Click "New Payment Method" to add a new method and fill out all the requested information. Now, when you have more than two options on the Billing Information page, you can choose whichever you like to be your default payment method.
Why was the invoice charge unsuccessful on my new credit card?
Typically, this is caused because the bank has not been notified of the automatic withdrawals now coming off the credit card from SimplyCast. To solve this issue, just call the bank and inform them that you know of these payments and approve them.
