About This Position
As the Jr. Front-End Developer, you will work closely with project management, design, and development teams to make a fashionable, usable and interactive interface for multiple devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of the new User Experience (UX), with a focus on intuitive design and customer usability, across the SimplyCast platform.
- Help establish, maintain, and document standards for the design, development, and consistent use of User Interface (UI) elements across SimplyCast.
- Assist in migrating and modernizing existing user interfaces to align with the new design philosophy and design system.
- Collaborate with API and backend development teams to identify and communicate UI-related requirements and necessary backend changes.
- Optimize front-end applications for speed, scalability, responsiveness, and overall performance across devices and platforms.
- Analyze performance and usability issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Develop modular, reusable, and maintainable front-end components aligned with the company’s design system and development standards.
- Maintain, enhance, and expand the shared UI component library to promote consistency and efficiency across all SimplyCast applications.
What You Bring
Job Requirements
- Experience with .NET (C#).
- Front-end development experience with emphasis on MVC-type frameworks (E.g. Angular, Vue.js, React.js, Flutter).
- Experience with Blazor (not required, but beneficial).
- Hands on experience with markup languages.
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment).
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous workflows.
- Understanding data serialization, authentication flows (JWT, OAuth), session management.
- Understanding layout aesthetics.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills.
- Problem solving skills and desire to learn.
Nice to Have
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Git and version control strategies.
- Knowledge of information security practices.
- Technical writing skills (E.g. Component documentation, Requirements documents, etc.).
