SimplyCast’s President and CEO, Saeed El-Darahali, was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee Medal.

The award is a new commemorative medal created to mark the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the throne, and honors significant contributions and achievements made by residents.

Saeed is humbled to be chosen as a recipient of this distinguished honor.

Silicon Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, June 2, 2022 — SimplyCast, an ISO 27001, 27017, and 27018-certified leader in engagement automation for organizations in over 175 countries, is proud to announce that its President and CEO, Saeed El-Darahali, has been named as a recipient of Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal.

The Medal is a special award given to residents in 2022 to honor and celebrate their achievements while also honoring the Queen’s 70 years of service. The Medal highlights Nova Scotians for outstanding contributions and achievements to their community.

SimplyCast’s President and CEO is honored to have been chosen by the Lieutenant Governor as a recipient of the Platinum Jubilee Medal. He looks forward to continuing to contribute to the province and his community by providing support to numerous organizations, sitting on multiple boards, and being a champion for provincial growth.

“I am beyond humbled by this recognition,” said Saeed El-Darahali. “I am a proud Nova Scotian and I will continue to do my part to ensure this beautiful province gets the recognition and support it deserves on the federal and international stage.

“I am filled with gratitude to the Advisory Council for their recommendation and to those who nominated me. I couldn’t be more surprised and would like to thank everyone who has helped me to promote and strengthen this wonderful community and province.”

Mr. El-Darahali has long been an advocate for youth retention in Nova Scotia. SimplyCast has hired more than 200 students over the past 12 years of the company. This is one way in which Saeed hopes to provide benefits to the community at large.

“My life’s mission is to end youth unemployment,” said El-Darahali. “It is vital that we provide our students with the work experience they need to succeed and if they can acquire that experience in their home province, then that’s even better.”

Saeed El-Darahali will be presented with the Platinum Jubilee Medal along with the other recipients at a ceremony that will be held in July or August 2022.
