Can I set the Twitter app to auto follow new followers?
Yes, you can set up your Twitter project so your account will auto follow people that re-tweet the messages that you post on your selected Twitter account. This feature can be enabled and disabled at any point during your Twitter campaign by following the instructions below:
How to Enable Auto Follow
To enable auto follow, you'll need to set this up when you schedule your Twitter Project. Once you reach the Project Settings page (Step 2). Look for the auto-follow slider on the left. Move the slider to Enabled to turn on this feature and complete the remaining steps to set up your Twitter campaign.
How to Disable Auto Follow
If after you've activated auto-follow you wish to deactivate it, you'll need to do so the same Twitter Project you previously scheduled. Once you reach the Project Settings page (Step 2). Look for the Auto-follow slider on the left. Move the slider to Disabled to turn off this feature and complete the remaining steps to set up your Twitter campaign.
What is Auto Follow?
Auto follow can assist in expanding your Twitter following by automatically connecting with other users who share your content, encouraging them to follow you as well. This can provide an increase in follower growth that should be watched throughout the campaign, as aggressive follower growth can negatively affect your account. It is encouraged that you continue to keep an eye on your Twitter following through the campaign to ensure you don't reach your following limit, causing you to no longer follow other users until you yourself gain more followers.
