What happens if you have a long sales cycle?

Typically you would just allow your sales cycle to take its course, but with the new anti-spam laws, you'll want to maintain some kind of regular rapport or conversation with your clients, to keep resetting the six-month period between interactions. The easiest way to do that is to check in, ask them questions, and keep them conversing with you since each new message resets the duration of the grace period.
