Where is reseller customer data stored and is it secure?
SimplyCast provides all of the data storage and servers needed for your reseller platform. We maintain two secure facilities with 24-hour monitoring and bio-metric capabilities. All of your marketing information and reseller customer data is stored safely and is monitored around the clock. Each facility has multiple emergency generators waiting on standby, featuring over 24 hours of autonomous run-time before needing to be refueled. Each generator runs a test at least once a week in order to ensure they are ready in the event they are required.
SimplyCast uses standard security techniques such as firewalls, cryptography, and access control procedures to protect information from unauthorized access. SimplyCast also uses daily back-ups to ensure the company is able to restore reseller customer data in a timely manner in the event of a server failure with minimal to no loss of data.
For reseller partners who are concerned with privacy protection and wish to store their customer data outside of the United States, we also offer a Canadian data center with all the same benefits as the U.S. location.
What about a reseller customer located in the European Union?
For reseller partners located in the E.U., SimplyCast complies with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) standards in terms of data storage and data security. All reseller customer data is encrypted in transit using standard cryptography practices, such as TLS and SSH. SimplyCast can also encrypt reseller customer data at rest where necessary, using AES.
