Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, May 7, 2019 — SimplyCast, a leader in engagement automation, is proud to announce its partnership with the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia (CSCNS).

The Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia was founded in December 2012 to bring non-profit and voluntary organizations together to help meet the needs of Nova Scotia’s citizens and communities. CSCNS supports these organizations and works collaboratively to find innovative solutions in the community sector.

With such a wide range of organizations across the province, there has been a sector-wide lack of capacity to standardize data collection. This has resulted in different organizations relying on different tools or manual methods of data tracking. CSCNS recognized a need for a more reliable, consistent solution for its member organizations.

Dubbed the Sector Digitization project, the partnership between CSCNS and SimplyCast will create a centralized digital engagement platform to aid in increasing capacity and collecting sector-wide data, which supports the vision and mission of CSCNS. This opportunity will provide non-profit organizations across Nova Scotia with a customized solution to support their operational processes. This will result in streamlined, automated processes and increased opportunities for growth across the sector.

“We’re very fortunate to have found such an innovative partner in the Community Sector Council of Nova Scotia. Communication and engagement are critical components of connecting with individuals, regardless of industry, and we look forward to supporting CSCNS,” said Saeed El-Darahali, President and CEO of SimplyCast. “SimplyCast’s software is meant to be flexible and able to suit any organization and use case. As such, the solution we’re providing to CSCNS includes all the applications that we’ve spent almost ten years developing.”

“We’re excited to be able to offer our members this new, one-of-a-kind solution in the non-profit industry,” said Arlene MacDonald, Executive Director of CSCNS. “CSCNS is always looking for new ways to innovate and benefit the non-profit community in Nova Scotia as donor, volunteer, and stakeholder demographics change and as our sector becomes more entrepreneurial. Digital engagement is a critical component of that.”

All member organizations within CSCNS will have access to SimplyCast’s digital engagement technology to leverage and connect with their members, volunteers, and donors. This solution will include access to over 20 communication channels and tools that organizations can use to complement, enhance, and optimize their existing processes.
