August 18, 2020

SimplyCast has released a new COVID-19 use case as part of the retooling of its platform to aid with the fight against COVID-19.

This use case streamlines the registration and follow-up processes with travelers crossing the border into a new state or country without the installation of an app.

SimplyCast is confident that through its automation platform these processes can be made drastically more efficient.

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, August 18, 2020 – SimplyCast, an ISO 27001:2013-certified leader in engagement automation for organizations in over 175 countries has released a new use case assists provinces and states with the streamlining of cross-border traffic while ensuring traveler information is registered and those who are required to self-isolate are consistently followed up with throughout their self-isolation period.

Through the retooling of its automation platform to help provide support against COVID-19, SimplyCast has developed this use case to help governments with tracking travelers who are entering their borders to help mitigate the spread of the virus, and helping manage these travelers by ensuring they self-isolate should they be required to do so.

The implementation of this use case SimplyCast enables governments to have travelers complete a self-declaration form before they cross the border and depending on what information the traveler provides, the platform will initiate them into a self-isolation automation flow where they will receive self-isolation reminders via email or text message as well as a daily automated phone call asking them to confirm they are self-isolating as directed.

No app installation is required, meaning that even those without mobile phones can receive the self-isolation reminders.

Automating these processes reduces the amount of manual effort required on the part of government health employees and ensures that everyone who needs to be is contacted.

“Automation technology is a powerful tool and a powerful weapon in the fight against COVID-19,” says SimplyCast’s President & CEO, Saeed El-Darahali. “We are always amazed to see what is possible within the scope of our platform and we are thrilled that we are able to provide something like this to governments to help protect their citizens.”

The SimplyCast Team has worked tirelessly to develop many new features to ensure that its platform is ready, willing, and able to provide support to organizations dealing with COVID-19. This use case can be deployed within hours with very little need for customization.
