SimplyCast revealed its new communication platform during its unveiling event, February 23.
EmergHub is an all-in-one platform consisting of 24 modules that help with communication before, during, and after emergency events.
EmergHub was funded through the Build in Canada Innovation program and piloted by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Department of Health and Wellness in Nova Scotia.
Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, February 23, 2017 – SimplyCast, a leader in communication automation launched their new emergency communication platform, EmergHub, on February 23 at their unveiling event at the Halifax Marriot Harbourfront Hotel. The invite-only event had close to 700 attendees who celebrated the company's recent achievements.
EmergHub incorporates both the original SimplyCast applications as well as nine other modules that are geared toward making emergency communication processes safer and more efficient.
EmergHub is the world's first application with a common operating picture showing local areas and their interaction with emergency messages. It is the first technology to connect all stakeholders in an emergency situation by using an all-in-one platform for communications.
EmergHub has the capability to provide prompt situational awareness and provides consistent and effective communication by laying out the common operating picture in a simple and intuitive dashboard that updates in real-time.
The modules created for EmergHub include the capability to send out mass alerts, recall responders, initiate an instant teleconference by dialing out to participants' phones, and manage the event from a single, web-based portal.
The EmergHub platform was developed with funding from Public Service and Procurement Canada's (PSPC) Build in Canada Innovation Program (BCIP). The Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness then signed on to pilot the technology.
