Can I publish my created web form as a template?

Yes, you are able to publish a template of the web form you created. This could be very useful if you want to use the same web form again or slightly modify it, and you won’t have to build it from scratch again. In order to publish a template of a created web form, there are a few simple steps to follow.

When you click the Publish as Template button in the form editor, a pop-up will appear where you will be asked to name your template. If you are planning to create multiple templates, it will be helpful to give each one a distinct name in order to easily tell which one is which.

The second field in the pop-up allows you to type in the name of the category you want the template to appear under when creating a new web form or survey project. If you are looking to create a new category, add a new name to this field.

To officially publish the template, click the blue Publish button located at the bottom of the pop-up. It will now appear in the template section when you are choosing a template for a new web form. Alternatively, if you wish to keep editing or do not wish to create it as a template, click the gray Cancel button to close the pop-up.

Can I unpublish a template that I already published?

Yes, you can do this as well. You may run into a scenario where you want to unpublish a template. In order to complete this process, simply enter the form editor for the template you would like to unpublish and click the Publish as Template button in the project tab. Then, click the blue Unpublish button located next to the publish button to remove it from the list of templates.
