Can I send from an AOL email address?

Compliance FAQs

AOL has recently made some email policy changes that will affect campaigns that you send using an AOL sender address.

These changes that AOL has implemented are similar to changes Yahoo has made in accordance with DMARC, or Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance. These changes have been made to reduce spam emails received from AOL sender addresses. Learn more about DMARC.This is an important change for AOL because any email system that utilizes DMARC will examine the sender email address to detect if an AOL sender email address originated from an AOL mail server. If they do not, messages will be filtered or potentially blocked entirely.

As a result of these changes, using an AOL address as your "Sender" or "From" address in SimplyCast is no longer allowed. If you are using an AOL email address as your sender address in SimplyCast you'll need to change it to something different by adding a new Sender Address.
