Does the opt-in form work in an email?

Form/Survey FAQs

The opt-in form will not work in an email. When you publish your signup form, we provide a number of different versions of code you can use; however, embedding the signup form in your email will most likely not work in most email programs. The reason for this is because these programs will block forms and scripts from loading for security reasons, and prevent the recipient from submitting the form. The Iframe and JavaScript code provided is designed for integration with web pages.

The solution is to create a link to the signup form.

For email marketing, we provide a link to the signup form when you publish it. The link (URL) provided will work in any standard web browser, which means you could create a link to the signup form in the email itself that your recipients can click on when you are sending your email marketing campaigns. Any signups are added directly into the SimplyCast CRM.
