What is the Tracker Description?

A Tracker Description is just a note assigned to each tracker to remind the user what the purpose of each is, allowing you to have multiple trackers across your web page without mistaking one for the other. While the URLs might be different, they could be similar so the description allows you to differ more distinctly.

Is it included in my plan?

Yes. Sonar is a free subscription available to all of our SimplyCast users, so all of the features of Sonar are fully unlocked for you. This does not mean, however, that the features of 360 such as email, SMS, and others are unlocked.

How do I use it?

When you open our application at app.simplycast.com and sign in, you will notice some tabs along the very top of the window. If you click "More" you can find Sonar in the menu that drops down. As soon as you create a new Sonar, you should see the option in the window that comes up.

How does this benefit me?

By attributing a description to your tracker, you ensure that no matter how many you create, you will be able to find the one you need quickly and easily, and you'll remember what pages are tracking what.
