Your terms and privacy policy must not contradict one another, and failing to include a concrete commitment to not selling contact data will likely result in your campaign being rejected.
A few things you should consider:
- The “message and data rates may apply” disclosure.
- Samples of the message will be sent to contacts, including a clear opt-out process in each message.
- Clear instructions on accessing opt-out and “help” pages such as a Contact Us or customer support page.
- Consent must be in a checkbox if an online form is used to collect consent.
- Clear access to a terms and conditions page, as well as to your privacy policy.
