    Text PATRON to 11011 to log your visit to a specific location for COVID-19 contact tracing purposes.
    Up to 3 messages per interaction. Message and data rates may apply.

    NOTE: PATRON is an example. Check-in partners have their own designated keyword.

    SimplyCast stores the message and phone number on behalf of the organization using the SMS check-in shortcode. Information is typically stored for 30 days or less, in line with public health guidance.

  • COVID-19 Vaccine Status Checker - 22022

    Keyword: Provincial Health Card Number (NSxxxx xxx xxx)


    Nova Scotia expects that travel to and from the province will need current, verified proof of their vaccine status, which is why they are offering an easy-to-use vaccine status checker tool to citizens.

    Members of the public who wish to receive their verified vaccine status can text their health card number to 22022. This will be looked up against fully-encrypted data provided by Public Health and will return the date and time of the lookup and the effective status of their doses.

    SimplyCast only stores the country and area code of the phone number for billing reconciliation purposes. The phone number and message body are not stored for the purposes of this tool. Information is stored for 30 days or less, in line with public health guidance.
