Everything you need to know about your SMS shortcodes

A short code is a short “from” number that is more easily memorizable for your customers. They allow you to do complex automation logic and keyword based messages.

Why Short Codes?

Short codes enable you to easily develop automated message flows based on specific keywords. This enables you to do things like ask for feedback, offer coupons, and many other things all at the users request.

Which Countries Are Available?

Currently our short codes are available for the US and Canada.
US customers have access to the short code 550055 and Canadian customers have access to the shortcode 770077.

Can I Get A Custom Shortcode?

Custom short codes can be provisioned from the providers at the request of the account holder. Contact support for more information.

Shortcode Setup

Setup is explained within the short code management dashboard within your account settings. However, there are some default keywords that you should be aware of as they will be available to your customers. See below for information on each.
