Today's the day. The big announcement we have been talking about for weeks. SimplyCast's new internship program is live. We are looking for the Next Star Employees, for not only SimplyCast, but for the industry in our region.
Here is a blurb from today's official press release:
The program champions the education and advancement of high school students while also promoting the development of future leaders. Students with a passion for learning have the opportunity to build and strengthen their skills and have their ideas impact a successful real-world company."At SimplyCast we are committed to finding and developing new talent," said Saeed El-Darahali, president and CEO of SimplyCast. "There is no experience required, just passion. We have a thriving organization centered right here in Nova Scotia, and we want young people to realize they do not have to move far from home to have successful careers."
Students can expect an environment that focuses on the following:
- To work on projects that build and optimize innovative, game-changing marketing products and in the process, do what you are most passionate about.
- At SimplyCast, we put today's youth on top and turn you into a superstar. No coffee making, no mindless data entry, no doing lunch runs. Just the best hands-on learning environment possible.
- For two months, spend hands-on time learning, being mentored and most importantly, sharing your genius with our team.
The requirements are pretty simple. You should have passion, come ready to offer new ideas and most importantly, you are ready to make mistakes (and learn from them).
As a high school student, the first steps you take towards building your career is crucial. In order to develop both personally and professionally, you need to experience an environment that will challenge you, provide a strong support network, and give you the opportunity to turn your actions into results.
Sound good? Applications are being accepted until May 1, 2013 and all the details can be found on the Next Star Internship page on our website.
