Applications / Emergency Response Plans | Event

Save time and stress when an emergency strikes by drafting step-by-step emergency response plans, each ready to be launched the moment it's needed.

Each emergency response plan template should consider:

  • Who should be contacted in the event of each emergency, and in which order.
  • Which emergency personnel and incident management teams are needed.
  • Which city workers will be needed to minimize disruption and panic, e.g. traffic control.
  • What each emergency alert will say—e.g. whether evacuation is needed, which instructions civilians should follow, where evacuation zones are, which locations to avoid for their own safety, and a final ‘all clear’ message once the danger has passed.

After the fact, you can also handle cleanup with ease by preparing a disaster recovery plan template.

How to draft an emergency operations plan

Each incident response plan template can be created in SimplyCast's Event module and listed on the Command Hub Dashboard for immediate launch.

Launching one of these pre-made emergency action templates will send the user through an accelerated setup process that allows customization of each pre-defined element before each campaign is sent. The auto-start option allows you to launch an event and deploy each task automatically at a designated offset time from the template’s initial launch.
