SimplyCast 10-Year Celebration: Youth Retention in NS

The theme of SimplyCast’s upcoming 10-year celebration will be youth retention in Nova Scotia.

Over the last 10 years, SimplyCast has provided opportunity and experience to over 200 youth.

The 10-year celebration will take place September 20, 2019 at the Cunard Centre in Halifax.

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, July 30, 2019 — SimplyCast, an ISO 27001:2013-certified leader in engagement automation for organizations worldwide, has announced the theme of its upcoming 10-year celebration: youth retention.

Over the last 10 years, SimplyCast has been dedicated to hiring, training, and giving experience to the next generation of workers in Nova Scotia. This has included hiring over 200 new graduates, co-ops, high school students, and interns for paid work terms.

SimplyCast realizes the importance of training the next generation of workers so they can live and thrive right here in Nova Scotia. Therefore, SimplyCast has decided to highlight this important subject as the theme of its 10-year celebration.

“We have built a successful technology company in Nova Scotia in huge part due to the contribution of future leaders, which is why we want to pay tribute to them as the theme of the celebration,” said President and CEO of SimplyCast, Saeed El-Darahali. “If we can hire over 120 new graduates in the heart of Silicon Dartmouth, imagine what it would be like if more businesses did the same.”

At the 10-year event, SimplyCast will be celebrating its own accomplishments but will also be highlighting the successes of the recent grads, co-op students, and others that have passed through its doors.

“There is plenty of talent in the local community,” said El-Darahali. “We’ve been very fortunate to hire very bright individuals from the local universities. We’re also very grateful for the programs that allow us to hire so many talented individuals including Graduate to Opportunity, ACOA, NSERC, NRC-IRAP, NS START, and many others.”
