Hospitals have a variety of patients, many of which are children. When a child goes missing, a hospital has a code amber procedure that they follow. Existing code amber scenarios initiate a clear response but making sure all needed staff are aware of the event is critical to ensuring a fast and effective response.

Alerting Staff

When a code amber incident is launched by an administrator, they can launch a pre-defined event which includes all the required steps of a code amber response.
Search Tracking

As staff search the immediate area, they can respond to the initial alerts to confirm that they have searched their assigned area, as well as indicate if they have discovered the missing child.
Search Monitoring

During an active code amber incident, administrators can monitor responses from staff as they come in. When searches of a given area are complete, staff can be redirected as needed to other key search locations.
